Zambelli Tassetto represents the North Adriatic Sea Port Authority in an administrative challenge involving the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism to affirm that the Port Authority shall be the competent entity in the regulation and management of marine traffic in the Giudecca Canal in Venice. The Port Authority’s jurisdiction in this respect for safety and operational reasons cannot be superseded by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage.
