Flixbus prevails on the issue of bus stop signs

The Veneto Administrative Tribunal grants the appeal by Flixbus, a coach company represented by Roberto Panetta and Franco Zambelli, against the decision of the Municipality of Venice which required the advertisement signs affixed by the train Station bearing the wording “Flexibus bus stop”, the company’s logo and setting out the destinations served. The Tribunal held that such signs were not to be considered advertisements rather they provided the necessary information in respect of a public transport service and the routes served.
